The biggest part about this advert is that the celebrity status of the models. David & Victoria Beckham known internationally for many reasons, they live a glamorous lifestyle and are very influential people. David for being a big sports personality as well as having a modeling career. Victoria is well known for being a singer and a fashion designer. Both of them have had past experiences with fashion, and their celebrity status makes them perfect for modelling in the advert as they promote Armani is a good way. This advert also connotes an impression that if celebrities wear the Armani clothing then it must be high quality.

High quality brand names use black and white filters in most of their work. This advert is black and white, this has been done for a specific reason. They want to keep the advert simple, it being black and white also attracts the eye. Black and white adverts create distinction among other colours, this type of grey-scale stands out from the others in a magazine.

The body language and posture used by the two celebrities is relaxed and comfortable, this is used to create a relationship between the viewers and the advertisement, it also shows romance in the picture. The composition of the advert is also important, in this picture there isn't a lot of blank empty space around the celebrities. The rule of thirds is used here, the camera is also close up to the celebrities as well, this is to re-enforce the bond between the viewers, making them seem closer to us.

The message of the advert suggests the clothing will make you appear sexier, attractive and more confident. David and Victoria Beckham are well known individuals and respected in the public eye. Using many celebrities in any adverts will often draw more attention and appeal to the admirers of the celebrities, hopefully this will end in the viewers buying the product advertised.
