Angus Thongs And Perfect Snogging - Review
Teens, Tears & Boys!
Teens, Tears & Boys!
Pestered by her snooping parents, little sister,
and Angus! (their cat) Georgia Nicholson, a typical
14 year old girl who wants to grow up...And fast!
Is swooped off her feet as soon as new boy Robbie
moves into the village, but their path never did run smooth..
The film, which is based on the teen book by Louise Renisson
starts of with ultimate awkwardness as 'Georgia' or 'Olive Girl'
flounces up and down Eastborn Village in a flurry of tears.
Anyone with a younger sister will know that love drunk teens with high emotions pretty much sums up your average 14 year old.
Georgia Nicholson (Georgia Groom) is returning to a new semester at South Coast School and is determined to become popular, cool and to have found a super HOT 'boyf' and the rest of the 'Ace Gang' agree! The Ace gangs general conversation consists of boys, boys oh and boys! They're an interesting bunch but somehow you can't get enough of them.
The troubles of love kick in as soon as brothers Tom
and Robbie step out on out screen. They're fit, brothers and have that cute London boy accent which makes you melt at the
knees! Even though they're a year older this doesn't stop
Georgia and Jazz (Elanor Tomilson) brewing up ideas to try and win them over.
With the general nosy and noisy parents, romantic
complications in her life don't help! But its at the quite
moments that really tap into your emotions. Giving us the
good old British telly that we love, this film ultimately relates to our family dramas that we may hate, but certainly do enjoy.
Whilst being shocked by the very loud, over thinking teenagers, flashbacks from your teenage years will certainly be fresh on your mind for a while, you wont be able to take your eyes away that's why this film is one a film to watch!
