lord of the rings fellowship of the ring review

This film was brought out in cinemas in december 2001, since then there was 2 more films made with such a graphic adventure of the ring getting destroyed. the film is thrilling,funny and totally involving, it has a flawless intoduction where it goes in depth about the hobbits on  middle earth and intoduces the ring and frodo the person who opts to destroy the ring. he goes on this jouney with gandalf the gray who is a brave powerfull wizard, he stands by frodo and protects him at all times, through the battles with the orcs and other gastley beasts who want the ring for there own benefit, (to take over mordoor).
the film doesnt have many flaws but the only one that i notices was the photography and the bright lights they were jacksons flaws to the film they were unsatifactory and made the film abit disapointing at parts such as the battles.

The film was directored by Peter Jackon and also written by him along with Fran Walsh, and Phillipa Boynes, the duration of the film goes on for 178 minutes and it was made and set in the usa. the genre of the film was adventure and fantacy.

They chose the perfect characters to play the parts that they play such as Frodo he is a vunrable and slighty weedy figure, which makes the film alot more intersting to watch because you will question whether he will be able to succed in destroying the ring, as the films go on his character grows and he becomes abit more confident as they go on.

The lord of the rings the fellowship of the ring was a massive sucess as it reached a 5 star rating this connotes that it was popular and that people enjoyed it, the other two had the same rating which suggests to me that people was intreged to know what happens at the end, the films are filled with such dramatic yet amazing scenes, with so much action, battles etc.  it was an amazing film with very little flaws to talk about.

The film has thrilling scenes and funny scenes and adventure, make belief scenes with makes it hard to put a genre on it, its just action packed with so much involved. In the first one its mainly watching the gang set of on their journey to destory the ring it gets you to know there characters and what they represent, what type of roles they play.

I think the target audiance for this film is all ages at any age i think most ages will love it if there in to this type of action movie.
