Assassins Creed Brotherhood - Game Review

Assassins Creed Brotherhood Analysis

Just to get one thing clear before you start playing this game is that you will never man any more broadside cannons after the first 10 minutes,  and don't be disappointed by the Heavy cinematic intro because everything after that is utterly amazing.
Assassins creed brotherhood is the 3rd game in the franchise and takes place in 15th century Italy and Rome the protagonist of the game is Ezio Auditore Da Firenze a man riddled with guilt after his family was murdered by a corrupt pope and his blind followers.
The first, and stupidly annoying mission, in which you are forced to man useless cannons that deal zero damage to enemy foot soldiers, a glitch which was not present in previous games, and then to top of this annoyance was a 5 minute long cut scene in which you could not skip explaining why you were shooting these annoying cannons, first of the placing of the camera is all wrong as you can not see where you are shooting the cannons which makes it a whole lot worse and the auto brightness feature was a waste of time as it just made everything to dark that you cant see the enemy's and when you do they are too close and you die and have to restart the nightmare all over again.
Moving on from the games first mission is a game that is worth playing, but you need to know how to play or else you will fail, as it drops you off straight in the game and without any prior knowledge i was jumping into hay bales and diving into crowd of people and even accidentally plunged my knife into an unsuspecting woman carrying her shopping for the day but the more i played the game the more impressive my free running became and once you master these controls you are can jump run and swing to your hearts content.
aside from all the story missions brotherhood builds on assassins creed 2's list of things to do, you take take control of enemy areas of occupation, there is also a recruitment process, so you can have a mini army of assassins ready at your whistle, another cool feature that was added to the game was property management, this allowed you to buy and sell property's such as weapon shops, tailors and even rent out different homes.
The single player offers at least 15 hours of top notch game play, oh and add the countless hours i spent running around attacking guards for no reason, and once you get bored of that there is a brand new multiplayer mode.
The multiplayer are simple but challenging games of deadly manhunt, either as a lone wolf or a team of highly skilled assassins, you are given a target to assassinate, while other players track you down you know what your target looks like, and there general direction but the catch is that the civilian population are the same character as you, so you have to watch the crowd for any unusual behavior making this a fear inducing deadly game a cat and mouse one of the greatest additions to the franchise however there were occasional diabolical crashes.
in conclusion i think that assassins creed is far better than its predecessors after introducing its one time activation, this was different to assassins creed 2 as it required you to always be online, all of the additions to the game make it far superior.
