Prison Break Review
One of my favourite TV shows is Prison Break which was released in 2005. It is based on a very intelligent business man named Michael Scofield (played by the wonderful Wentworth Miller) whose mission is to break his brother named Lincoln Burrows (played by Dominic Purcell) out of prison who is on the death sentence and has been wrongly convicted for murder. Michael the Structural Engineer turns himself in to the Fox River Penitentiary where his brother is waiting in hope of survival. His death sentence is just around the corner and if Michael doesn't act sharply then he may lose all he has ever known and loved. Once out of jail, their exposure isn’t over - the brothers must flee the country to escape recapture and clash an involved political conspiracy that puts everyone's life at risk. The brothers have a unique bond that is unbreakable; some may say this is due to their harsh upbringing that had left both brothers scarred. But the past can easily re haunt them, and some familiar faces may spring to life adding yet more mysteries to the brothers lives.
This is a TV show that is likable due to its action fulfilled episodes that leaves us viewers in suspense. From my experience of watching this TV show I have discovered an attachment for Michael and Lincoln because as a viewer I can personally say that I and most others want them to be free because we are aware of their innocence yet this is not how they are portrayed by the other characters in the show. However, there wouldn’t be a plot if this was the case. I have in fact, re-watched this show many of times and it never gets boring even after knowing the ins and outs, I still love It. One could have never thought that you could make a show about breaking out of jail so entertaining.
