film review (simpsons movie)

The Simpsons movie is an animated film, which has children as its target audience, but can be enjoyed by all ages. The much loved cartoon family are trying to stop pollution in the lake when they find themselves and the rest of Springfield trapped in a dome by the government ,the Simpson family manage to escape out of the dome and go on the run to Alaska but when they hear about the governments plan to blow up Springfield they want to go save their home town and with Homer refusing to,the rest of the family leave him and head off to complete the mission of saving Springfield, while homer struggles to understand an epiphany is the only thing that can save him, his family and Springfield..with an introduction to spider pig, harry plopper and guest appearances from  Tom hanks, Arnold Schwarzenegger and greenday in this 86 minutes of fun-filled side splitting humorous production leap from television to the big screen. The film shows a heartfelt split in the storyline when Bart has an uncharacteristic urge to become part of 'Flanders' family who treats him very kindly like a son, unlike his own dad who doesn't.

David Silverman should be very proud unlike Andrew Adamson and Vicky Jenson (the directors of Shrek) which is a reasonably good film but is very predictable and played safe with a storyline which is very similar to most fairy tales. The Simpson's movie plot is completely fresh and new.
I absolutely love the Simpson's movie it is very different to other films and it never gets old no matter how many times I watch it, I laugh every single time without fail as its hilarious and just fun to watch. the Simpson's are a family everybody loves and its just so natural to watch the humour above all appeals to the audience I think because it is a type of humour that no matter how old the viewer is they will find it funny.
