There are loads and loads of fashion magazines - but most of these are monthly and are considered 'high end'. There are obviously a lot of celebrity gossip magazines as well. However this hybrid gives LOOK magazine a degree of uniqueness.

You must ensure that, as with the analysis of any type of media, that you do not only take a 'Descriptive' approach to genre - that is to simply list a series of recognisable conventions. You must also take a 'Functional' approach to analysis, that is to say that you should find conventions that reinforce the ideologies of the magazine.
