Misfits Review

Misfits is a British science fiction comedy-drama television show aimed to entertain teenagers or young adults, about a group of young offenders sentenced to work on a community service programme, where they obtain supernatural powers after a strange electrical storm.

The Series mainly stars Robert Sheehan, Iwan Rheon, Antonia Thomas, Joe Gilgum, Lauren Socha and Nathan Stewart-Jerratt, although the characters do change throughout the series.

In my opinion I think that the T.V show is fun to watch and keeps you entertained. The plot keeps you thinking about what is going to happen next and makes the audience eager to watch the next episode.
However, throughout and at the end of each series a few characters do get ‘killed off’ and even though they might be my favourite character it does open the door for more interesting new stories and characters to be introduced.

Some of the series and their writer,
Howard Overman, were nominated for awards in 2010 and even one of the series won the 2010 BAFTA Television Awards for Best Drama Series. Cast member, Lauren Socha, won "Best Supporting Actress" for her part as Kelly. The show was also nominated for "Best Comedy Drama" at the British Comedy Awards in 2011, but lost to Psychovilee.

The Tv Show/Series can now be bought on Dvd and also On Demand as a T.V Boxset.
