             The Inbetweeners movie

The Income/status model

For the status & income model, I think this film can target all classes as in my opinion anyone can enjoy this film no matter what class you may be, however, if i had to choose i'd pick classes C2, D, & E, especially E, because I think these classes are more likely to be interested in the film as the majority of classes A & B will more likely be an older group of people such as doctors and lawyers. However the trouble with deciding on a possible target audience is that group E contains students, but also contains pensioners, which i don't personally think will a large number of pensioners are fans/interested in the film.

Y&R's 4C's model

The inbetweeners movie is a comedy based on four teenage boys who are all good friends finally going on their 'lads holiday' as school is over...
In my opinion i'd say The inbetweeners movie is targeted to the reformer, the explorer, the succeeder and the aspirer, as these types of people seem more likely to watch this particular film as it's a comedy intending of making the audience laugh and find it funny. Also with the aspirer, and how this film is really popular, if everyone else is watching it then the aspirer will want to copy to be a part of this.

The uses and gratifications model

I think most target audiences will appeal in a way with this film whether it's a negative or positive one, this film has a sense of escapism for those who want to sit down and have a laugh along to this film, the adventures the boys have in The inbetweeners will create this entertainment, and no doubt have you laughing.

Also with personal identity this will engage the target audience, especially younger people as they compare their holidays to this one, or  if their planning on going on a 'booze holiday' then it will put them in a good mood and they can relate to the film in this way, also each individual character in the film are all unique and have their own role in a way, therefore you can compare your group of friends to the group of friends in the film, and maybe the audience will relate by wanting to put themselves in one of the four main characters shoes, and like to think they are them

I don't think there is much to discuss for information/surveillance as the film isn't quite informing it's only purpose is to entertain, however with social interaction, it's the opposite as The inbetweeners movie was a hugely popular film, and the series before were also very popular, a lot of people watched it, and so therefore when the film was released in the theatre, it was a 'must see' sort of thing, most people would be talking about it and whether you liked it or not you'd probably still end up talking about it.
