Our music video targets mainstreamers because it contains conventions of a music video such as somebody playing the guitar in the video, the story is simple and straightforward. The narrative is a repeated common story of the everyday man and his life struggles. The video shows Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, the man in the video is seeking self-actualisation which is top of the hierarchy of needs. The lifestyle category this targets is the dropouts. The man in the video is unemployed and cannot commit to anything although he is attempting to change this. This also attracts the drifter too as the character is still unsure of what he wants to get out of his life.

I think at the conclusion of our music video it has been a modest success, it appeals to a few difference audience groups while also presenting
