To begin the video is very fast paced to fit the music. The music video opens with an establishing shot of a house/ neighbourhood, signifying suburbia that is easily identifiable with audiences. The teenagers sat around shows that suburbia is boring and that this music video is breaking the mould and that 'life's not out to get you'. The editing is very paced to fit and match the song to make the video and song up beat. The shots of the band within the narrative portrays how they have gone through the struggles of life and equality because we're all 'stuck on the same page'. The shots of the teenagers jumping in the lake are images that are recognisable to childhood, so making the best out of life the teenagers are living childhood. The target audience of this music video would be young adults and teenagers who are going though every day struggles. The video is very inspirational as they break the established order and just make the most of life, the lyrics speak about coming together and this is signified through the groups of teenagers running together, no one is alone in this video. The video also has very high key lighting, to make it more appealing and exciting.
'Stand above your demons'.
