The masthead for this magazine is the logo from the television series Top Gear. This is so it is easily recognisable to its audience. It is also a dark black colour so it looks interesting and it stands out from the background of the magazine. It is big and bold and is positioned at the top of the magazine to look over the magazine and leave plenty of room for the picture of Chris Evans and the rest of the text. The font matches the one seen in the TV show but without the little gear so the logo is slightly different to the TV show.
The magazine is using Chris Evans to draw the audience in because he is the new Top Gear presenter and the audience that watch it will want to see his interview on being the new presenter and try to learn any new info about the next series. The world exclusive is showing that they can't see it anywhere else and this makes the audience want to buy it and know what it is all about. The cars in the background prepare for the ideologies inside the magazine by showing us two sports cars and two family cars.
