The dress she is wearing is also very expensive looking as it covered in 'bling' this shows off her wealth and success. She has chose to show her tattoos off as they show her individuality as an artist. This presents the way she wants the audience to take her as a confident young woman who isn't afraid of being a bit daring and standing out from the crowd.

The encoders of the magazine have chosen to represent Demi pretty much the same way. They have done this by having the copy around her, having words like hot date around her make the audience think of her in a sexualised manner. She is perceived as a healthy and fit woman by the magazine having 'tight bod' around her. The photographers have used highlights and shadows to make her figure stand out.
