i chose this advert for humour because it is funny, it is because it shows a man fighting a bear because they chose the best salmon and thats what the company want, it is very extraordinary because in real life the bear would rip the man to shreds, it uses violence and a nut kick to add the extra funny, because whp doesnt
My next advert is for repetition, it is Subway - eat fresh, this slogan is just telling us more that the fresh vegetables they have, i think it is more towards a fresh new lifestyle as most of the things they offer are low fat, it could also mean fresh as cool, its the new thing to do is buy a subway, the "eat fresh" has been repeated on posters and a radio and TV, The slogan is easy to remember because it only has 2 words, it is an imperative, it is telling the audience to eat fresh, implying that subway is fresh and always will be.
My next advert is for shock tactics it is a WWF advert, and the message it puts across is dont buy exotic animals as gifts, an audience would find it shocking because of the blood trail behind the woman, that is what actually happend to the animal, after it was tortured for it fur, or its claws or tusks, this advert would grab the audiences attention because of the excessive use of blood, and what the text actually means.
This next advert is for stereotypes, this is an advert for the gender stereotype, it tackles the men cant multitask stereotype, it is targeted at men, because the brand is Nivea for men, obviously the stereotype is not true, as with most stereotypes, the advert is implying that only women can do more than 2 things at a time, further implying that women are better than men.
The next advert is for Intertextuality, it features one of the main characters of probably the best films ever made , the character is Yoda, the advert is appealing to pretty much everyone as even people who havent seen star wars will know who this character is, people will be more likely to go to vodaphone to trade in there phone because of this nostalgic reference.
