Why I disagree with - National Review - Syrian Refugees: Europe shouldn't let them in.

I chose this article because it challenges my ideologies. I disagree with the main point of the article and its important to consider others opinions despite them being different.

Who was the article written by and what is it about?

The article was written by Dennis Prager. To sum up the article, the writer is saying that Europe shouldn't allow Syrian refugees into the country for reasons such as the immigrants not assimilating with the Western culture, and increasing the risk of terrorism and the lack of money and opportunities in countries.

The main points of the article.

The article states four main reasons as to why they hold the opinion that Europe should not take in any Syrian refugees. Firstly, he says that 'many of the children of the immigrants will not remember Assad or ISIS.' It then goes on to explain that these children will not integrate into European society, therefore causing trouble in these countries. Another point made in the article is that 'the economic growth and unemployment rates of the European countries  are not robust enough to handle a vast number of newcomers.' This suggests that the refugees are an implication on the economy, which I can understand however, if these refugees were given the opportunity to work they would be able to contribute to the economy.
