The masthead looks very original and iconic. It is instantly recognisable due the the band 'The Rolling stones'. Its dark red colour and grey outline connotes prestige with a stylish font. The font may appeal to a slightly older audience who are interested in music and the latest goings on in the music industry.

The celebrity chosen for this specific cover is Snoop Dogg, a well established rapper who became famous through Dr. Dre in the 90's. He is one of the most loved rappers to date, who still appeals to a young audience, as well as an older audience which he gained in the 90's when introduced by Dr. Dre. Snoop is pictured with a candy cane stick holding it up to his mouth. He was told to do this as he is a well known cannabis advocate, who uses the drug regularly which is and has been well documented. By him posing like this it may have appealed to a new audience when it was released, as many people who follow his belief in the uses of the drug would be tempted to read it because they are able to identify with the celebrity.

The layout of this magazine cover is basic, but looks well authored, as there isn't too much copy on the front. This may appeal to an audience who are looking for an easy read, which fulfils their need to be entertained and informed. As the cover suggests that this magazine was a Christmas edition because he is wearing a Santa Claus hat, and is wearing what looks like an elf outfit. An older generation may be appealed to on this cover because at the bottom right corner it advertises '300 classic concerts' which feature names like 'Hendrix, Zeppelin, Dylan'. People of an older age would want to read this magazine because of these names that are featured on the cover, because they are labelled as some of the worlds biggest rock stars, and would appeal to people who were around at the time of these people.

The magazine pulls us in at the top of the cover, by stating that this magazine is the 'Ultimate Rock & Roll Gift Guide'. This shows a strong level of confidence and certainty about the magazine, and attracts people to read further. The cover prepares the audience for the content which they will read inside. We are able to gather that this magazine's ideology is don't take life to seriously, and that it's just a but of fun and entertainment. And the cover reinforces this as the

This magazine would appeal to the mainstream audience, because Rolling Stone magazine is one of the biggest selling and most popular music/entertainment magazines out there. Therefore it would be followed regularly by many people, specifically those who are into music, entertainment and the latest news within the industry.

This film will appeal to the succeeders as the group who feature in the film, 'N.W.A', want to become famous through their music and the stories that are embedded in their music which tells people about what life is like for them in Compton. They want to get out of the violence and gang culture by getting into the music business and releasing albums.

The people who are a fan of rap/hip-hop music, or N.W.A will take a preferred reading to this media text because they can relate to their music, and in some cases, a minority of people might relate to their situation.

People who are not a fan of rap/hip-hop music, or just N.W.A in general will take an oppositional reading to this media text. This is because they may not be able to relate to their music or their situation, due to a far fetched context.

Review of FIFA 15

FIFA 15 is in purely technical terms, stunningly impressive. The player models, though a little top heavy, have taken another huge stride towards photorealism, and the renewed match atmosphere effects - team sheets being read out, player emotions, licensed stadiums, authentic terrace chants, to name but a few - combine to create a real wow factor for the first few games you play.
This is, lest we forget, the first fully-fledged next-gen release for the series, and you sense EA has decided the best way to catapult the series forward is to lob the proverbial kitchen sink into our living rooms, cramming in two or three years' worth of updates all in one go.
The new features and improvements are too numerous to describe comprehensively. But the overwhelming impression is of the enormous amount of care taken by a team that has a fan's appreciation of the game. While this may be authenticity only in the sense that it replicates the matchday experience as invented by Sky in 1992. Slot in a few games of FIFA between Super Sunday matches and the transition is seamless.
But can you remember what the crowd looked like on PES5? Or how realistic the grass looked on FIFA 10? It seems strange that sport games are so often sold on their appearance when, unlike almost any other genre, its target audience has such a clear idea of the real-life experience the game is trying to recreate. Consider how many gamers will have kicked a football compared to firing a gun. Then think about how far we still seem to be defining from how a football game should feel to play.
FIFA 15's game engine is so different to last year that it lends the impression not just of development teams working completely independently of each other, but also of a series sorely lacking this sense clear sense of direction or identity. What should a football game be like? "Different to last year" seems to be the only answer at the moment.

Overall, I think FIFA 15 is the best virtual football game made to date, due to updated characteristics, new movement engines and updated goalkeeper behaviour.

Photographic composition

Rule of thirds.
The photographer takes the picture so the main object, statue of liberty, is found on one of the intersections. The picture is split into three parts, from any way of looking at it. This technique makes the main object stand out, as it towers over every bit of scenery. This also draws attention to the main object.
