Lynx Advert - Stereotyping

In this Lynx advert, with the appearance an attractive man walks into a bar with attractive women in there. I think that the man looks rough in this and comes across as a busy character as he runs his finger down a map.

For the behaviour in this advert i think it shows throughout that men are dominant, an example is where as he opens the book the woman's shirt opens. This suggests that if you smell good and you are good looking, you can do this with women just like he did.

In comparison with reality, I think that this advert exaggerates that men are dominant and actually do control women. Unlike years ago where it did happen and that men did have power over women, it's not like that now. So I don't think that this advert meets the expectation of the audience.

This advert is suitable for the medium because it attracts men to use it, as it is also aimed at men as well, because they would want to be just like the man in the advert.
