Format - Throughout the series of a particular game show, which involves celebrities, there are many different things that can happen during it, celebrities compete in different series of tasks each day which is one of the specific things that happens. Also there are "vote offs"/"evictions" in order for the series to conclude in which there will be a winner at the end of the series.
In specific shows like Celebrity Big Brother, you get celebrities (housemates) who compete in tasks in order to win there shopping, or specific gifts. There are also secret tasks in it, where one or a couple of the housemates will take part in, where they can win stuff for the rest of the house.
Usually in Celebrity Big Brother, there are two evictions every week, where the British public will vote for who they want to stay in the house for whoever is up for eviction, and there is usually about 5 housemates in the final, so in this case, the British public will vote for who they want to win, and this is of course another one of the specific things that happens in the series.

Technical - For shows like 'Im a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here' and 'Celebrity Big Brother' there are cameras all around the house/jungle and possibly everywhere they go there is a camera there. There isn't any camera crew just following each of the celebrities around all day.
As you can see in the clip below which is from the show Big Brother, you will see how the different cameras all around the house follows them around all day, every day.

Setting - For a show like 'Im a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here', that isnt filmed in a studio, its filmed in a jungle, which is the same place every year, so there's no change of location.
Whereas for a show like 'Big Brother' its filmed in a studio even though its called 'The Big Brother House'. They are the typical locations for both of them celebrity game shows.
As you can see in the clip below, this is where the filming takes place which is from Celebrity Big Brother.
Characters - What you would expect to see in this type of show is all different celebrities with all different kinds of characteristics/personalities that provides the audience with entertainment, because some people can get on in whatever show their is and other personalities can clash.

Narrative - The type of narrative for this kind of show is Linear because its non fiction, its not really a story its reality.
Also usually with a show like 'Celebrity Big Brother', enigma codes are usually used in because you start to ask questions throughout the series, like 'who is going to get evicted next?' 'who is going to win?' ''are they playing a game, or aren't they?'.

Iconography - The things that you expect from this type of show, is the typical theme tune.
In 'Im a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here' the things that you always expect is the horrible 'bush tucker trials' which includes all bugs and critters while the person doing the task has to collect the stars for food. Other things that you expect is the jungle, the same place where they sleep every year, Ant & Dec hosting it and many other things.
In 'Celebrity Big Brother' the things that you expect is the diary room with usually a different chair every year, the bedroom, the back garden with the swimming pool and hot tub in it, the secret tasks and the tasks for the whole house.

Uses  & Gratifications - With the uses and gratifications model, 'Celebrity Game Shows' can relate to most of the model.
Personal Identity - People who watch these kind of celebrity based shows can relate to the celebrities, or watch it because they like 'catchphrases' what they say. An example of this is Keith Lemon on Celebrity Juice who always 'Bang Tidy'.
Social Interaction - With this part of the model, people use social interaction to talk about these kinds of shows. People can use social networks like Facebook and Twitter to talk to people about it. Also its a topic that is more than likely going to come up during when your at work or school or even at home when you and your family may watch it with you, talking about why you didn't want that person to be evicted or voted off, or who they like they most, because so many people watch it, that is why social interaction links to 'Celebrity Game Shows'.
Entertainment - People definitely watch these kind of shows for entertainment and escapism because its a time where they can watch their favourite celebrities or ones that you have enjoyed watching over the course of how long the shows runs for, so its a time where you can forget about stuff and watch something that is close to celebrity life.

Needs - With Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, there isn't really one that fits into 'Celebrity Game Shows' because they are purely for just entertainment.

Other Needs - With this kind of show, this genre revolves around elite people and stars in which people enjoy to watch.

Stereotyping - On Celebrity shows there isn't really any stereotyping.
