Elvis: Don't Cry Daddy

For my media diary week four, I have chosen the Elvis song don't cry daddy as the text that changed my life.

This song has changed my life numerous times because my dad used to play this song of a Saturday night when me and my two younger brothers were younger. Although the song is about a negative experience, this song has positive connotations for me because it reminds me of my dad. This has changed my life because when I am down or upset my dad is usually my first port of call, if I am not able to go to my dad however, I always listen to this song because it reminds me of him and helps to turn my frown upside down!
