Beyonce Knowles album '4'

This album is Beyonce's latest album which was released June 24th 2011, the genre of this is r&b, pop, funk and soul. The name of this album was influenced by her fans because 4 is a prevalance number in her life. The album contains 12 songs:
 1. 1+1
 2. I care
 3. I miss you
 4. Best thing I never had
 5. Party
 6. Rather die young
 7. Start over
 8. Love on top
 9. Countdown
 10. End of time
 11. I was here
 12. Run the world (Girls)

The target audience of this album could be a variety of individuals. Mainly young girls, but also could be people who can relate to the lyrics of her songs. She is an artist who applies to all ages and audiences mainly because of how famous and experienced she is.

Alot of the inspiration for this album came from touring, travelling, watching rock bands and attending festivals. The album's early musical direction was influenced by Nigerian Afrobeat musician Fela Kuti, whose passion for music motivated Beyonce.

People consume this as some of her songs are motivating, relatable or relaxing. I find this album is one of the best albums that has been released lately, therefore is the reason it's so popular.

The audience can react in various ways to this album, they can either feel that they can relate to Beyonce's life or lyrics, but they can also feel that they're not doing the right thing if they can't relate to it.
