My reaction to the text: shock, one of the main characters – Prue – died. It was the last episode of the third season and Prue and piper were badly injured fighting a demon and were left for dead… it is revealed in season 4 that Prue died of her injuries.

Why would people consume the text: People who are intrigued by the supernatural would find this drama interesting. It is also full of light hearted humour and good acting. People who are fond of Prue would like to watch it to remember her character as this is the last time that she appears in the 8 year long show.

How other people could react to the text: other people could react to the text in many ways…

1.     Some people might not like Prue and so they could react with glee when she dies.

2.     Other people might have come to terms with it or simply might not care and therefore won’t be shocked by her death.

3.     Other people however might not like the genre, actors, humour or storylines and so might not find it entertaining.
