This advert is trying to stop people in countries that are having wars from getting killed because they do not deserve to do die so this advert is trying to convince us to sign a petition for human rights.
Visual and Narrative techniques
This advert is black and white from start to finish and the reason behind this is because it is telling us that nothing about this situation is good and that we should try and stop it so the use of black and white really adds emphaise to the advert. Also in this advert it is a rewind of everything that happens and this is because it is showing us all the things that are happeneing in the world because that the human rights laws are not being put into effect but also that we can change all of this. And then when we reach the end of an advert we see the piece of paper that a man threw away that is to do with human rights. Then the final few seconds is the man staring at the piece of paper like he has just saw everything that has just happened so it looks like he is reconsidering his option.
Advertising techniques
In this advert they they use shock tactics to try and conivnce people to to sign the petition and they use shock tactics by showing executions people gettting kidnapped also people gettting killed in combat and this really did touch a nerve with me and did make me think I really want to help out. But also the use of the people is smart because they look like your normal everyday people which makes this advert relatable which increases the impact of the advert increasing the amount of people that sign the petition.
What did i like what I didn't
I like the use of black and white in this advert because it really give the advert a depressing feel and it also increased the impact of the message of that innocent people are getting hurt from corrupt governemnts. I also loved the the rewind of the advert because it is telling us that this can all be stopped by signing one simple petition I will consider using something like this in my advert. Finally I really liked the use of no music just the none diagetic rewind noise this increased the impact because the sound of the people screaming was amplified giving the advert a much more realistic feel and give the advert a much bigger impact.
