On the Independents front cover It has one main picture of Frankie Knuckles and the headline above the picture is "Farewell to the godfather of house music Frankie Knuckles dies aged 59" I believe this is for the mainstreamer because they use his name like people would know who he actually is. Also with his headline they do not try to use any puns they try to make it as series as possible .
The headline "Union boss threatens to launch rival party to Labour" I believe this section of the front cover is for the succeder and the reason I believe this is because this is not the typical subject a mainstream audience wants to read about they mostly want to read about entertainment subjects and world disasters and national news. The way the headline has been written is without any puns without any snarky comments it is a professional title that will only attract more intelectual people and more professional people. As this headline is advertising a professional article that is standard with Broadsheets not an article for of jokes and laughter and puns.

On the Broadsheet The Independent has used an elite persons and shock factor for their main headline and the reason they have used this is because the person on the front cover will only be known to the older people in our country and this is why he is mentioned in a broadsheet because a lot of older people read broadsheets and that is because that is what they grew up with not these new tabloid papers. So this is the reason they have mentioned an elite person in a broadsheets because the newspapers demographic are filled mostly by the older generation this is why the shock factor would be so impactful.
