Film Structure: Narrative and Narration by Warren Buckland.

17. ‘A narrative does not consist of a random series of events, but a series of events related to one another in terms of cause and effect’ interesting because this can relate to a majority of game narratives, especially heavy rain.

18. ‘although the chronology of pulp fiction is an extreme example, its complexity evidently did not detract from the film’s huge popularity’ interesting because, even though narrative is everything in forms of the game having a purpose, it can be twisted and distorted so the film still has quality. This is similar to games as other elements other than  narrative (Gameplay) can contribute to a better game.
