This photograph is a good example of the use of rules of thirds. You can clearly see the three sections when you look at the image; the grassy floor, the kangaroos and the sky with beams of light and clouds.

I think this is an interesting example of the use of lines and shapes. The shape of the wave and the depth draws our to attention to the shape of the enormous iceberg underneath the water, then you notice the small top of the iceberg above sea level in comparison.

In this mage uses light to give the impression that the beam of light is shining on a heavenly object; this is due to the fact it's one single beam of light being projected through such a small place. Also, the harsh darkness of the room gives the beacon of light an even greater impact.

The focus of this picture when you first look at it is the camera and the mans hands, but when you look again you begin to notice all the details behind the camera. By looking at this we notice that the man is taking a picture as well as taking into account the details of whatever he's taking the picture of. This suggests that the foreground is equally important as the background.
