A type of audience for Friends could be The Struggler because they seek escape from everyday life and could want to watch a group of friends having a good time because they wish to escape their own lives. I think people from The Mainstream category because they are part of the world of the domestic and the everyday. Friends is a situation comedy about a group of friends who live in New York and have troubles in their everyday lives that most mainstream people would face. Mainstream people like to do things 'we' rather than 'me'; like the characters in Friends. The character Rachel in friends, at first, could be seen as being superficial, into fashion and into her appearance which is what The Aspirer looks for and they could relate to Rachel in friends but not throughout the whole Friends series because she soon becomes less superficial and more loving and mainstream. The character Ross in Friends would probably be classed as The Reformer as he is intellectual, socially aware and enjoys valuing his own independent judgement; just like The Reformers.
