Media Diary week one.

In this media diary I will be posting a review of Sons Of Anarchy, a TV series surrounding the activities of a motorcycle club called the Sons Of Anarchy and the exploits of the series protagonist
Jackson "Jax" Teller.

Without revealing too much, this TV series explores a wide range of issues, making it more than just an action packed, explosions and gun filled shooter. Which I mistakenly thought of it as when I started watching it. I was not prepared for the emotional thrill ride that followed.

Cinematography is used to great effect in this show. The camera does its job well in conveying the emotions of characters with a variety of close up shots.
Lighting too, is used brilliant and excellently emphasises the mood of certain situations and events.
Sound is used to an expert standard, it makes situations seem more tense and scary when the sound drowns out or sudden loud noises occur.

The themes explored in this series include -
- Fatherhood
-Gang Violence
-Drug use
- Orginised Crime
-Abuse
-The IRA
and quite a lot more.
