Photo Composition

This photo that I've chosen is using the rule of thirds.
We can see this clearly because of the grid layout within the photo, the grid highlights that each third of the photo has something different in each section and also the the main focus of the image (the girl within the photo) is on the intersections of the grid.

This is a good example of using foreground and background.
As clearly seen the baseball is the main focus of the image as the rest of the image is slightly blurred, but the background adds depth to the image as well, as we can see the pitcher throwing the ball towards the camera so it self explains where the ball is coming from.

This image shows us how some photographers may use shapes to manipulate the thought of the audience to this photo. As we can see from the photo they just look like regular geese near a lake or a river. But how their necks are shaped it looks like some sort of heart which in reality it wouldn't do.

This image shows a good example of how light and shade should be used in an image. For me personally I see this picture as representation of a saying. Even on the darkest of days the light shall shine through and i think this image shows it best, and I think that this image also shows even when some one isn't having a good day or week that soon it will change from being bad to being good.

This image of a cropped picture of a cat, zooms into it's face and by doing this we can properly look into it's eyes. Because we are so zoomed into the face we have to focus on it and think about it. For me the cat shows torment and fear as I stare into it's ghastly eyes, for other people it'll mean other things. But if the original image wasn't cropped down to the cats face we wouldn't be think about this as it wouldn't be as focused on it.
