Rule of Thirds

I feel that this image fits the rule of thirds because the handcuff and chain are the point of interest that are near/on an intersection of the image (if it were to be divided into thirds), it sticks out immediately.

Foreground/Background

This image fits foreground/background because there are two points of interest. The couple kissing in the foreground and the Eiffel Tower in the background, despite it being blurred it is still a point of interes that adds visual depth to the image.

Lines and Shapes

This photo is definitely a great example of lines and shapes as the first thing to catch my eye was the line of the balcony fence against the rugged shapes of the mountains, the photographer definitely thought of the shapes when taking this.

Light and Shade

The light and shade in this image definitely give it a good effect, the shadows of the trees are greatly distorted by the light of the sun while the sun in the image is so bright it creates a lens flare which balances out the effect both elements have on the image

Cropped Images

Left-top part of this mans face is shown as well as the bars he is behind, this cropped image could be symbolic of some sort of segregation or something along those lines. He is not fully in shot which shows that this is a cropped image.

Skewed Image

The picture of the spiral stairs at this quite strange angle give emphasise on the feeling of disorientation, this is a great example of a skewed image.
