Photographic Composition

This image is a cropped image of a cat, this image is effective as we can see clearly the cats features and the fact that the cats stare is very captivating due to how close we are to it.
I chose this image because it's quite a detailed and clear picture of the animal.

This image uses the foreground and background technique.
In the foreground we can see the bottle and the wooden planks.
The deep blue sea in the background would be a point of interest as well as the bottle and plank, meaning our eyes drift between the two.
I chose this image because I find it visually appealing.

Light and shade are used in this photograph effectively as the shadows of the stone pillars make them stand out, the light too offers an interesting contrast making the image pleasant to view.

Lines and shapes are used here by making the viewer of the image follow the curvature of the ferris wheel.

This image uses the rule of thirds technique, because of this we concentrate on the building at the side of the image due to it being inside the grids used in this technique.

This image uses the skewed image technique, this makes the audience feel distorted due to the angle of the image.
