Horror Trailer Analysis

Theme: Feeling isolated or different, bullying being the outcast. These we can see from the Character Carrie being alone or picked on by others. The setting of the normal town and high school suggests that this is a modern day film which will emphasise Carries's old fashioned mother. Another theme could be revenge as the trailer shows the main character causing destruction after being bullied. There is also a theme of love and relationships as we can see in the trailer a number of relationships between men and women and between a mother and a daughter.
Ideologies: The idea that people are different and that you shouldn't make fun of them because of it. The idea that everyone has a dark side and a breaking point (as we can see from the main character in the trailer)
