Ideologies - There are a few ideologies presented in this advert, however the most clear one is to do with the idea that there is a stigma surrounding mental health, and in fact people who suffer from mental illness are just regular people and not 'lunatic's' like many people believe. There is also the message presented that the stigma surrounding those with mental health has got to stop.
Visual And Narrative Techniques - This advert is portrayed to us as a horror film at first, in the sense that the 'schizo' is a dangerous person who is to be feared. The camera zooms in and moves towards a door whilst the camera distorts and flashes, revealing the silhouette of a figure on the other side. This classical effect is used frequently in horror/thriller films to create suspense and tension. This then prepares the audience for a shocking sight when the door is opened, further reinforcing the idea that schizophrenics are something to be wary of. When the door is finally opened we see a wide shot of a normal everyday man in a kitchen, the camera angle then changes to a medium close up when he tells us about himself. The voice over is incredibly calm and casual, as opposed to what we were lead to believe from the 'horror' type
