Miley's cover of the Cosmopolitan magazine is very revealing which represents her to be very confident and sexual showing off parts of her body. Her outfit is not something a reader of the magazine would wear, emphasising her image as a sex icon. Cyrus shows of her flat tummy and figure, making all the young teenage girls want a body like hers. 

Miley is the main object of this magazine drawing the audience in of who ever is a fan of hers. She is framed in a medium long shot, showing of her whole outfit. The encoders of the magazine are putting across to the readers that she is appealing in a sexual manner. The main headline around Miley that stands out the most is ' YOUR BEST SEX EVER!' most of the coverlines are about this, making it obvious that Miley is the cover to represent her sexual desires. The colour of the mgazine is black and pink which can be seen as sex colours putting into the whole theme of the magazine.

I would say that the target audiene of this magazine would be woman aged 18-30, whose interests are about the articles in the magazine. The articles are about sex, beauty and body, which also relates to Miley. Miley's head is tilted back a little making it look a low angle shot. The preffered reading would that the audience would except Miley to be a sex icon as the way she carries her self in the image and shows of her tummy and her breasts. One of the coverline reads 'It's Miley, B*tches...' " Ive never faked anything", this makes the audiene think that she is not afraid to speak her mind and is confident enough to not care what other people think about her which alot of the audience would probaly lack off.
