The main role we see is that Women are a stay at home mum, being a house wife cleaning, making sure that the house is clean when their husband gets home. The woman in this ad is using the item that the advert is wanting to sell, which is a steam floor cleaner, we see the woman cleaning up after their baby, pet and husband. Even though the husband is not shown in the ad you know that he is at work providing for them as the woman stays at home and cleans and looks after thier child.
