In magazines today, gender is represented in a very stereotypical way, women are dolled up and photoshopped and the men are dressed in suits with whatever hair style is in that season. In magazines and also most other media products, women are mainly objectified in a sexual way, this is because of the idea that 'sex sells', with this cliche in mind magazines mainly like to have women half naked, photoshopped so they have the perfect body and dolled up to make their skin seem flawless, this doesn't really represent what a natural average women looks like but what can you expect from something which only wants to sell its product?
The magazine Grazia which is a magazine aimed mainly at a female audience is a prime example of a media product which does this in order to gain more money,
