Media Diary 6
We all have
guilty pleasures and not all of us like to show them. My guilty pleasure is the
best band to ever walk this Earth. ABBA. I think that ABBA is the best thing
since sliced bread. I love their songs and their style. I have one of their albums
and it will probably stop working soon because of how much I play it. I play it
whilst doing work because it relaxes me and I love it. In fact, I have it on
now. The target audience for ABBA I think would be 40-50 because they were
popular in the seventies. I am not normally a music lover and to have me like
them is very difficult indeed so it makes me feel like they have made it big
time.
My second
guilty pleasure is a programme called Back In Time For Dinner. This show
travels through time to show how food has changed over the decades and how life
has changed because of it. The target audience for this is 50+ because that’s people
that were alive during these times but yet I love it. I get called an old man
in my family for liking these things and I don’t care I will watch this all my
life because I love it so much. I am not a huge fan of cooking shows but this
is different and I like shows that are different because they are more
interesting. This appeals to me because I like looking back into the past and
seeing what life was like. This show shows all of this and I think that it is
very comedic and definitely worth a watch to anyone of any age and I have even
got members of my family and church watching it so it must be good because they
hate everything.
