Print Based Charity Advert

Lines of Appeal:
Lines of appeal used in this print based advert by Barnardos, is from Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. The need that can relate most to this advert in my eyes is the need for love and belonging. I say this because in the need for love and belonging it requires being part of a family, and it seems to me in this advert that this baby does not. The text on it also says 'please don't turn me away'' implying this baby is looking for a family. Also we see it says ''He needs us, We need you'' this may suggest that without the help of the public, Barnardos will be unable to help children in need.  This may be classed as value message, as the advertiser is persuading you to think that the advert is undeniable, in this case you can nit argue against the fact that without the help from public donations, Barnardos wouldn't have been able to help millions of children, like this on the this advertisement.
