This texts represents the Olympics in a negative light the preparation and the event its self has caused so much stress and determination from the British armed forces and police due to the threat of terrorism. the olympics has taken 7 years of planning to get to this point and will be monitored by hundreds of armed officers, this promotes the ideology that British people are all extremely determined and are extremely conscious of our security and are prepared to do what ever it takes to ensure our nation is as safe as possible. This dismissed the stereotype that the British armed force is unprepared and isn't strong and promotes the idea that they are stronger together and are working as one.
ReplyDeleteThis presents the games in a more positive light and is an activity that promotes togetherness and the idea of the nation working together to reach one goal is a successful and safe olympics. it also highlights that British people aren't easily defeated and have a lot of stamina and despite there is possible threats they wont back down or be afraid.
