Cant hold us by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis featuring Ray Dalton would appeal to someone who likes the rap genre of music for a number of reasons.

The lyrics of the song fit very well with the video as it features lots of motivational features. For example the video features someone sky dividing out of a plane, a, man jumping out of a window into a crowd of people and a man sailing across the ocean on a boat. This in my opinion is to fit with the title 'Cant hold us' to show that no one can limit you as a person and you can achieve anything you want. The video its self is to show a story of how the flag is passed around the world as it shows many different locations which suggest a worldwide scale. The flag has 'The Heist' wrote on it which was the name of Macklemore's album at the time so in my opinion this is a marketing strategy by him to get his album out around the world to people. The camera work fits perfectly with the video. Almost throughout the whole song the shots cut on the beat which is a good example of high quality editing. To show how high quality the video was it even features a credits scene to show the sheer size and scale of this project and at a length of 7:03 its understandable why. This is very different to other video that tend to sit between the 3 and 4 mi ute scale giving it quite a unique feel to it. I feel that the length of the video and the advertisement of the album in the video were very important and good features to include.
