Ideologies:

This poster questions what will the reader do if the green space is not maintained. This promotes the ideology of a peaceful earth where all the animals and insects live in harmony with the environment and it is a mutualistic relationship.

Visual and Narrative Techniques:

The use of lighting in this poster shows the world as a bright place with a lens glare shining of the surface off the earth. The use of children in this picture is a use of emotive characters. This is because viewers will pay attention to what damage they are doing to the environment and how it affects their children or the future generations. This then may influence people to donate in that they believe they are contributing to saving the environment and creating a green space 'like this'.

Advertising Techniques:

The use of a rhetorical question is used to get the viewer thinking about what the world would be like if the environment was like this.  On closer inspection, the question assumes that this is possible and it should be the norm. The use of the line of appeal, Nature and the natural world, is a technique used to appeal to an audience of people who want to impact the environment positively.  Another line of appeal applied is our need to nurture by the use of children. This also links in with the idea of the viewer wanting to have a positive impact on children's and the future generations life.

What works?

The use of emotive characters and a rhetorical question are used to get people thinking. Also the use of lighting can be used as an attraction method. As well as the design of the photo looking rather aesthetically pleasing.
