Chocolate Print Advert - Rainforest Foundation UK

Ideologies
- Protection of the rainforest is important
- It is simple to help protect the rainforest

Visual/Narrative Techniques
- Huge bold copy 'HOLD ON!'
- Rhetorical question
- Interactive copy telling the audience what they can do
- Image of a woman eating chocolate, relates to the topic but doesn't distract from the main message of the advert.
- Rainforest foundation UK logo is positioned in the top left corner
- Small print at the bottom of the text is almost unreadable
- Images of products that contain palm oil
- Simple colour scheme, limited to 3 main colours.

Advertising Techniques
- Addresses the audience directly by telling them to 'HOLD ON!'
- Uses 2nd person to talk to the audience asking them if their daily routine is destroying the rainforest. Almost blaming them.

What does/doesn't work
- Simplicity
- Catches the audience with the bold writing
- Interactivity with the phone number to text
- The orange is an unusual colour for a rainforest related charity - green is more often associated.
