Adele has been used for the front cover of Vogue as she is seen by many to be role model to women everywhere. Despite not getting the accolade for being 'the perfect women', as she isnt as pretty as other famous singers, she gets recognition as she shows all women around the world that no matter how you look, you can still make it to the top like she has. She is a massive role model and inspiration to many women, hence why she has been selected to appear on the front cover. Using a lesser known artist may limit the sales, as Adele is possibly one of the most famous singers around the globe, both for her antics on and off the stage. Both her fame doesn'd account for why she's a role model, the fact that she broke through, from almost nothing, proves to women everywhere that they too can get the fame she has got. Her facial expressions express that she is looking natural, and she doesnt need make up, or photoshop to make her self look pretty, she is simply embracing who she is and how proud of herself that she is.
