Option 1

Create your own banner at mybannermaker.com!Without doubt, some of the most memorable adverts ever have been adverts for Charitable organisations. Many have pushed audience comfort zones to the edge and understandably so - whereas most advertising celebrates and promotes the joys of consumerism, charities want you to give your money away for no material return.

They may not have the incredible advertising budget or production values of Nike or Apple - but they are also not restrained by trying to make a pair of sunglasses look like the most important thing in your world. Instead, they are selling ideologies and outlooks - a way that collectively everyone could make the world a better place, and what could be more important than that?

Unfortunately there are more adverts for shoes than there are for charities. It is easy for these organisations to be lost in a sea of flashing lights and attractive prospects, so sometimes they have to shout a bit louder. Sometimes this motivates people to help their cause. Sometimes this upsets people.

Charity ads are always fascinating to study and they become more innovative every year. This project provides you with the opportunities to improve your analytical skills and deconstruct how adverts really work, but more importantly you can be really creative and cutting edge - learn from the ads that are out there and say something in a way that has incredible impact.
