charity: Save the children
campaign: Poverty in the UK
Ideology: You can donate two pound a month to help save child poverty in the UK, if everyone chips in then you can help children who are in need of decent food ,or a nice warm place to stay so that they can concentrate and have fun.
Character/Visual Style: They use a lot of children in this advert (as expected) this is to call on the parents need to nurture with children, as they can relate to their children then they are more likely to donate money to the cause of this, also they use a famous person to announce this who many people will look up to, he also works with Save the children so this will make more people aware of this charity.
Lines of appeal: The use of children in this advert is very predominant as they want to reach out to the parents of Britain to try and get a better/bigger audience to become noticed and for them to donate money too. They also use many extreme, medium close ups of the children to show their emotions and to show what effect it is having on the children.
What worked: the use of close ups on the children made it good because people will fall for them and want to donate because of seeing the faces or what effect it is having on the children.
