Audience Classification

1)
The Explorer – Steam Greenlight
Steam Greenlight is a sub-platform on Steam which allows individual/small game development groups to showcase their original ideas to the public and have them vote on whether their game is eligible to be hosted and sold on Steam. I think Steam Greenlight would appeal to 'the Explorer' because as previously mentioned, it's a platform for unique minds to showcase unique ideas – fueling the Explorer's desire for change and exploration.
The Mainstreamer – The Walt Disney Company
The Walt Disney Company has consistency; they hardly deviate into different styles of storyline or animation. They're consistent in making decent films and animations, predictable but decent. The Mainstreamer craves a strict integrity and wishes not for change as it may scare or anger them, the Walt Disney makes good films all the time because they stick to a formula that the masses enjoy. It earns them money and respect.
The Aspirer – Classic FM
The Aspirer's desire is to do whatever it takes to gain the respect and admiration of others; I believe that Classic FM would be a prime target for the Aspirer. The fact that an Aspirer listens to classical music ultimately brings them bragging rights. Other gullible people may watch an Aspirer listening to classical music and believe that they are cultured and intelligent (which they probably aren’t) due to the nature of the music; when someone thinks of an Aspirer in that way, the Aspirer gets their goal, their admiration.
The Succeeder – Dragon's Den
The Succeeder's goal in life control, they do wish to be successful in life and I think that entrepreneur/business shows such as Dragon's Den would motivate them to attempt to cease success. This show can possibly relate to the Succeeder's hard-working attitudes to life meaning they may watch it for personal identification.
2)
I reckon these categories of audience are helpful but no reliable in defining people interests. They may not be accurate as people tend to change but for the most part, it pretty much sums up the stereotypical personalities of each category of audience. People however, can blend between multiple categories, there may be Aspirers who enjoy Mainstream television and so on.
3)
Emmerdale is currently on the TV (no big surprise there). Emmerdale is a drama series of a bunch of British people doing STUFF...just, stuff. Now this would normally be favorited by Mainstreamers, but more specifically female Mainstreamers aged 16+. I say females because Emmerdale's theme of mundane, family and relationship drama is aimed towards the Mainstream woman as they seem to enjoy watching someone else's life fall apart; it's addition of occasional violence and adult themes hint towards an aged 16+ range. The class of these woman would normally be working to middle class, I couldn’t see the upper class being interested in middle class drama but I may be wrong. The show reflects the hardships of the middle-class making it relatable amongst them and the working-class can be inspired by it.

Audience Classification Questions

1.
a)

The Mainstream audience is the audience that thrives on familiarity, they hate change or to be taken by surprise. The majority of people will be able to enjoy a media text that has been aimed at a mainstream audience. Companies like Coca-Cola, Ford and ITV aim a lot of their advertising towards the mainstream as they know they're something that the audience can trust, they're a well known and respected brand. New brands aren't as able to push their way into the mainstream audience's eyes without following the rules that have been set by the old brands. Familiarity is key when appealing to the mainstream. Radio broadcasts like Nick Grimshaw's show on Radio 1 in the morning are familiar, they abide by what the mainstream expect, as well as being on at a time that the mainstream will be able to easily access it. The aspirations of the mainstream audience are not to become world leaders, but more to have a sense of belonging and to be content in their lives. Mainstream texts like Britain's Got Talent, Jeremy Kyle Show and the aforementioned Breakfast Show from Radio 1 are something that gives the mainstream audience something to talk about with their fellow mainstream audience members. Conversing with others is essential, it meets our needs of Love/Belonging according to Maslow, so mainstream media is giving their audience the opportunity to do this.

The Succeeder audience is an audience that consume media that will benefit them. They are always looking for an advantage, may that be in the business world or even just advantage over their peers. A succeeder will be oriented toward the media that will let them better themselves, such as a health magazine. 'Time' magazine is a weekly news magazine published in New York and targets the more business-savvy audience member. Their yearly 'Time Person of the Year' makes the succeeder audience member look at how they can improve their own lives, most likely by looking at how that person gained success and taking tips from that. The covers of Time are very iconic and never cluttered with adverts as the creators know that this will not appeal to their target audience of succeeders. The weekly releases of Time allow their audience to take in the content without being bombarded by daily texts containing tabloids they are not interested in but still allowing them to keep up to date with the world on a weekly basis. The typical succeeder will not be glued to one publication and will be keeping up to date on what is new in all fields of media as that is how they can stay one step ahead of their peers.

The Aspirer audience is one that looks for the absolute best for themselves, they don't care how much it costs, they need to have the best. An aspirer audience member absorbs their media for ideas on the next thing to buy, the thing that everybody seems to be wanting. Famously, Apple have multiple adverts that appeal to all audience types but a theme is within all of them in that they always contain the newest, some would say overpriced, technology that regular folk long for. The aspirer will be the first to grab this new toy and flaunt it as what others think of them is equal or more important to them than their own thoughts on themselves. An aspirer's esteem needs are fulfilled when they promote jealously in others. A text such as the advertisements created by Adidas to show off their line of Kanye West designed shoes, Yeezys, contains everything an aspirer looks for. The advert has over exaggerated terms for basic features, for example it calls the flap on the shoe a 'dynamic strap'. Being real, it's a flap. Aspirers are keen to be ahead of everybody else, the only audience for this exclusive product is the aspirer as the connotations surrounding the shoe such as Kanye West's influence on the media world appeal directly to them and really nobody else.

The Explorer looks for everything different, they enjoy the unique texts. An explorer audience member is wanting something unusual, something physically difficult to experience. Films such as Se7en, A Clockwork Orange, Shutter Island and The Silence of the Lambs appeal to explorers. Clockwork Orange appeals because of its actual difficult scenes to watch, the camera is positioned in ways that make it hard to decipher what is happening on screen and there are sequences that only an explorer can appreciate fully, the mainstreamer would probably switch it off after the first scene. Explorers are looking to get more from their media, unlike the mainstream who are looking for familiarity and something quick and easy to entertain them.

b)

Generally, these four classes for audience types are accurate. In terms of usefulness, it is hard to deny that these categories are useful in the media world. To be able to categorise things is functional for many reasons, one being ease and speed when discussing audiences - it takes much longer to describe the audience for a text every single time than just saying it is for a specific audience type like Mainstream. The sheer accuracy of the audience types helps, it's incredible that such a huge amount of people can be put into at least one of the four main audience types. A lot of people do fit into more than a single category, which is fine and actually more helpful for media text producers as it gives them more room to work in and lets them appeal to a wider audience.

c)

Friends is on the television right now. Honestly, when is Friends not on television, it feels like it's on at every hour of the day, every day. It probably is. It's so unbelievably mainstream that it's hard to find a person on this planet over the age of 10 that hasn't seen at least the first season. It fits everything that the mainstream audience is looking for and more. The reliability aspect as well as how accessible it is puts it straight into the mainstream audience category. Sitcoms as a whole are mainstream, there are some outliers such as Heil Honey, I'm Home (a sitcom set in the 50s depicting Hitler and Eva Braun in their suburban home which is hilarious by the way) but mostly sitcoms are mainstream. They feature normally a small main cast that is in every episode, in Friends case there are 6 main characters and we follow their lives in the typical way. Friends is extremely quotable and the mainstream audience are able to quote it to their friends (hah) to create bonds and fulfil the social needs according to Maslow.

d)

Britain's Got Talent appeals to the traditionalist because it follows the formula of a judging panel show, the traditionalist audience has gotten used to this format. BGT is something very accessible, it is appropriate for all ages and is on at a time that is perfect for nearly all audience members and it isn't hard to understand. Groupies can also enjoy BGT as it is something that seemingly everybody watches, something that can be discussed the next morning over a coffee at work. Arguably, drifters might watch an episode of Britain's Got Talent now and then as it always features a range of different talents, perfect for the drifter who doesn't know exactly what they want.
Time Magazine appeals to the egoists and possibly the trendies. Egoists will be drawn to the business side of the magazine and will see it as a way to better themselves by reading the articles inside, it's a reasonably well respected publication so egoists will trust the word inside. Trendies can read the text to find out ways to gain their peer's admiration but that is about all.
Yeezys and the advertisement that comes along with them is exclusively for trendies. Trendies actively seek out the advertisement itself, not just the product. As evidenced by one internet user's comment on the text stating that his friends would be so jealous if he came into school in a pair of Yeezys. Trendies buy into the media that will make them the aspiration of their peers so this is perfect for them. Advertisement is something that works exceptionally well on a trendy.
A Clockwork Orange is for the rebellious, the cynical and the drifters. Rebels will be able to experience the film in a way that might shock the regular viewer, but a rebel would enjoy this fact. The violence within the film is not for the faint-hearted as well as the disturbing themes throughout. Even the opening is difficult to watch, the flashing of blue and red makes it physically painful to watch, a rebel's dream. Cynics will enjoy the film for the themes, and the drifters may be able to buy into it because it is something they won't have seen before.
Friends is for groupies and traditionalists in the main. While it appeals to most lifestyle categories, these two are more obvious in the fact that the program is extremely formula-reliant and really appeals to the traditionalist because of this. Groupies will need to see Friends, all their peers have seen it and the groupie needs to know what all the fuss is about.

Audience classification

Ryan Kelley

The Mainstream

The people in this category would probably enjoy a film such as The Notebook. They would enjoy this as the film perpetuates social needs and belonging. The reason for this is that The Notebook as it entails a love story between a male and a female. As romantic relationships are a social need and give people a sense of belonging, this film would be appropriate.

The Aspirer

The Aspirers are a group of people who aim to be superficial and to be the ideal image portrayed by the media. For this reason they would be suited to TV shows like Project Runway. This show concentrates on modern fashion and features women who the media portray as “ideal”. This group would want to be like these women and for that reason would follow the show closely.

The Succeeder

This group are confident and have a strong goal orientation. For this reason they would probably want a media text that informs them of current affairs and of political issues. For this reason they would be well suited to a “highbrow” newspaper such as The Guardian. The reason for this is  that The Guardian is aimed at the more successful members of society, those which have high end jobs and a fair amount of money.

The Explorer

The explorer is a group in society that strives for the opposite than the mainstream. For this reason they would enjoy music that is not in the charts, for example a band such as Pantera. They are not mainstream and a different type of music that the mainstream usually would listen to. For this reason, they would be ideal for this media text.

B) I believe that this is an ideal way of defining audiences as it correctly identifies the features used by different groups in society. However many people fall into more than one category making it more difficult to classify the audience.

C) I think the average listener to Pantera would be a 25 year old man named Dave, he would be single with no kids and a more relaxed outlook on life than most people his age. He would be unemployed or with a part time menial job. He would enjoy drinking and partying among other things.

Media Homework

1a) The Mainstream

The mainstream audience is the largest and most common audience, these are the people who more or less prefer to be in a group and go along with what the majority of people are doing, this means they like to have security and consistency in their life. The mainstream audience are the most conformist group and want to fit in with society. The kind of media text this group are most likely to enjoy are ones such as Britain got talent and The x factor. This type of media i think suits the group well is because of how it is talked about across the nation and is a show that can be talked about even when the show isn't on at that moment, the hype of the show starting right up until the finale always gives these types of groups something to constantly talk about. This media is also in other forms of media such as the news and in magazines, this shows how popular the show is and this gives the mainstream audience a sense of security that they all have the same interests as their peers.

The Succeeder

The Succeeders are the audiences who constantly want to win and make the best of themselves, they also believe that successions is their main goal in life. These types of people usually have high standards and want to always reward themselves. They have strong goals in life and tend to be well organised and know exactly what they want to gain from life, these types of people i think would enjoy media such as quiz shows, these kind of shows are ones such as tipping point or the chase, the reason i think these shows would fit into this group is because the audience still have control over the answers they give and can decide which questions they want to answer and the ones they don't.

The Explorer

The Explorers are the audiences who are driven by their curiosity and their determination to travel and discover new things. These types of people are the type that always set to putting their dreams into reality. These types of people enjoy movies such as Donnie Darko, the reason i think they would enjoy these types of movies because its one you really have to get engaged in and have to try to piece together the evidence to figure it out, they also would enjoy documentaries about conspiracies as it makes them think about it and use their brains,

The Aspirer

The Aspirers are the groups of people who have esteem needs and want to have status in their lives, they usually want status from others and want to be known by others. The types of media that this group would enjoy are Britain's Next Top Model, this is because this type of media is one that is full of self confidence which is what aspirers need in their lives, also it is a show that lets them look up, if you will, to other people and allows them to seek

I think these categories are some what useful to a certain extent, i think this because some of these categories such as the Aspirer could also fit into the main stream category as the Aspirer is more likely to seek acceptance, kind of like the main stream audience, how ever these do help us to kind of 'read' people and give us different views on the different types of people and the categories that they fall under. I do think these groups help but it is just undeniable that one certain person falls under one group and one group only.

Catfish
Name: Hannah
Age: 17
Family: not so serious relationship, lives with mum, dad and older brother.
Class: E (student)
Education: College student
Religion: agnostic, not so interested
politics: not interested
Location: UK
Nationality; White British

The show which i chose was one called Catfish, this show is about a man who was once in an online relationship but wasn't sure who he was talking to was who he thought she was, he made his experience into a movie and then from that started to help people that are in the situation he was in around America, the slogan for the show is "catfish the movie was my story, catfish the TV show, is yours." It is usually on around 5pm on MTV or Viva and can have reruns of previous episodes on through out the day. The type of people i think would enjoy this show are either the mainstream audience or the explorer. The Mainstream audience i think would enjoy this because it is a show that is watched by a lot of people and always gives something to talk about, it has big follow ups all the way through the episodes and when the person is uncovered it cuts to a break, this gives the viewers a lot to talk about, whether it be the suspense or the final result. Also The Explorer fits under this typee of TV show because this show is basically one which you have to try and help figure out for yourself, you always end up trying to figure out if the person is who they said they were before they are even revealed.

Audiences homework

Audiences

Defining and classifying audiences:

1a) The mainstreamer:

A mainstreamer is someone in the largest group in society. Mainstream means following the crowd and doing according to what the general society wants you to do.  They come in a large group of people who chose their life choices following others rather than just themselves. This is because the follow the social norms rather than being more individual like a reformer would be. I believe that ‘Coronation street’ would be a media text that would appeal to mainstreamer's. This is because it is a very popular soap around Britain and reflects the lives of the average, every day life people rather than glamorizing it. Coronation street is one of the most talked about soaps of which the majority of people use social networking sites-such as twitter - to talk about it through using ‘@’ and ‘#’. By watching this programme, those people who fit into the mainstream category would feel a sense of relationship/ connection with the rest of society. This means that they would feel as though they fitted in. Mainstreamer's need ‘Security’. In other words, this means familiarity. Because of this need, mainstreamer's would get a great deal of satisfaction knowing that through watching the soap, they have more ability to connect with society and be able to relate/ have something in common to talk about with people.

The succeeder:

A succeeder is someone who is self confident and are very determined. They have good organisational skills and have the most responsibility as they can handle it better than most and they want to be at the top. They feel as though that they deserve the best of the best meaning that they look for the best things, whether it be clothing or food as examples. They like to keep things the way they are at the present moment because they support the status quo. I believe that ‘Shark tank’ would be a media text that would appeal to succeeder's. Like dragons den, it is an American TV series that features entrepreneurs presenting their business ideas to rich business people who may invest if the business idea is good enough. I feel that the succeeder's can relate to the business people who sit in the panel in the show because I believe they can relate to their success and ability to judge other people. They display responsibility for their money/ where the money goes and the entrepreneurs future.  The business people have the best due to their wealth and they are also looking for the best too. The need in life for succeeder's is control. As the business people have control of the show and the entrepreneurs future, succeeder's can feel that they relate to that and relate to the business men. Through this they get enjoyment from the decisions made and their opinion, choices and entrepreneurs. Succeeder's will find that they portray similar characteristics to the business people or entrepreneurs which links in with the feel that they can relate.

The Explorer:

Explorers like challenging texts that test their minds in an unusual way. Shows that aren't popular appeal to them because they seek out difference. They could be described as rather alternative, they do not conform to the majority of society. Explorers are not afraid to try out new things and they like brands that offer ‘new’ sensations. In other words, they enjoy finding things out and feeling like they've learnt/ found something new. This relates to their key need which is ‘Discovery’. I believe that ‘most haunted’ would be a media text of which interests explorers. This is because most haunted talks about concepts, theories and mysteries to yet be uncovered. The theory that they mainly portray is that of the existence of life after death and the effects of on society. This is a very controversial subject, so only people who are open minded to these things, like explorers, would take a true interest. This is a challenge because its challenging religion and other beliefs such as science. Its something that not many people can work out and there are so many unanswered questions which is another reason why explorers could be drawn and relate to the text. A show about ghost hunting isn’t something the everyday person would watch as it has a habit of scaring people, especially the fear of the unknown. As explorers enjoy discovery, they is unlikely to scare them, but rather thrill and interest them.

The Aspirer:

Aspirer's are materialistic people who take into consideration what others think about them rather than following what they believe. They’re rather appearance centred; appearance means everything. They’re referred to by others as being ‘superficial’ meaning they care about what’s on the outside. They must show confidence in themselves and have high end fashion- always. A media text form that would apply to an aspirer is Glamour magazine. The magazine, according to the website, revolves around the latest fashion, attractive models, hair and beauty tips and other related themes. Aspirer's love this type of media text because its filled with people who are edited to make them look good and aspires connect with the style and try to look like the models. Another reason is because it contains all the high end fashion and the latest cat walk crazes, meaning aspirer's can take tips and tricks from this in their quest for status is society. They believe that by reading this type of media text that they will be desired by others which makes them, in turn, feel good about themselves. They’re not very individual, they adopt from magazines and fashion role models in order to be and feel attractive. They learn from these magazines and take any materialistic element from it (e.g. latest dresses) therefore they relate to the aim and look of people within the magazine.

b)
In my opinion, the categories are only useful to an extent. This is because people can adopt bits from each category. Personally, I do not believe that there are only 7 types of people in the world. This is because there are over 7 billion people, all born from people with diverse characteristics, making more diverse children, etc. I think that they cover the basics of each type of person, however I think it needs to be more in depth. People have a range of characteristics of which they adopt, therefore it is likely that the majority of people fall under one category. However, I believe that people take a part from other categories as well. An example is people who are aspirer's can also be part explorer too. This is because they could be materialistic in a sense that they look for fashion that isn't common and is more edgy but still looks good. They could look for new styles or discover there own by adopting different styles from magazines and putting them together. Explorers key need is discovery, so this could be put into materialistic terms. The bottom line is that the categories do help to briefly define audience types, however it doesn't give the full or clear picture.

c)
Haunted doll documentary-
Name- Dave
Age- 37
Family- single and living with his parents
Self image- intelligent and likes discovering, into supernatural stuff
Class- D
Nationality/ethnicity- white British
Education-  gone back to uni
Religion- Christian but not strong
Politics- doesn't care too much
Location- Uk

The programme of which is TV at the moment is ‘Haunted dolls documentary’. This is a documentary on dolls that carry spirits inside of them, some evil and some not. This documentary is shown at night time, suggesting that it targets employed people or people in full time education such as university as at night they are able to watch it. This also suggests that the person is older than child age because its displayed at night time. It makes me think that it is aimed at an adult male because of the nature of haunting related texts. Haunting programmes make people scared in general. Males are associated with masculinity meaning big and brave and females are associated with femininity meaning being gentle and pretty. This means males can handle the spookiness more. The older you are the less likely you are to be scared of things, such as ghosts of which a lot of young people are scared of. This is why I suggest that the age of the person is around 37. As watching documentaries is considered an older man thing to do, this contributes to it. I imagine the person to be single and living with his parents because researching ghostly events is often associated as a ‘nerdy hobby’ therefore gives the impression that he doesn't have a family of his own yet and is living at home, bored and looking up paranormal things. His self image would be intelligent in a sense that he likes discovering and finding out interesting things (such as the ghost dolls). I imagine that he is white British because of castles and haunted ongoing in Britain that associate with the subject. I believe him to be class D because he probably has a job to keep money up whilst at that age, however he is also in uni so he doesn't have the opportunity to earn as much money. As ghosts and paranormal activities are aimed around crucifixions and other religious elements, I believe that he is Christian but not a strong one. He doesn't care too much about politics because politicians think differently to people who look into the paranormal and he lives in the UK.

d)
The programme ‘coronation street’ is likely to attract cynics. This is because in this soap opera a lot more bad drama happens than good. There is always something bad happening in each episode. When people complain, they see the negative part of life a lot clearer than the positive. This relates to the cynics because they always complain, therefore fitting in with the show. The programme ‘shark tank’ is likely to attract innovators. This is because shark tank is about people who are coming up with new ideas to present to a panel of people who are likely to invest in their product. They want to make their mark on the world through making a product that impresses the panel and hopefully becoming something from nothing. The programme ‘most haunted’ is likely to attract drifters. This is because when studying the paranormal in any way, they are looking at something that to this day cannot be explained- nothing is certain/ people are still unsure. This relates to people who don’t know what they want from life through the uncertainty of the subject. The magazine ‘Glamour Magazine’ is likely to attract groupies. This is because they follow the magazine and read it in order to fit in with the crowd and the latests fashions. The magazine is used by people to adopt the latest trends and apply them in order to fit in with everyone else who are most likely doing the same. Following the crowd is often referred to as being a sheep. Being a sheep is what gets people accepted by others; its conformity. The 'Haunted doll documentary' is likely to attract drifters. This is because with hauntings, nothing is ever certain as there are only theories to suggest. As there is no certainty, it relates to drifters as they don't know what they want.

Audience Classification Peter Shock

TV Series-Breaking Bad
Audience profiling I feel is very effective as you are able to customize and change what questions you need to ask,  to relate to the media text you are referring to. The questions I believe this would be asking is what is your age?  This would probably be between the ages of 20 and 40 as this is a show you really need to be able to relate to. For this series I think you need to have some understanding of how you spend money in the real world and the problems that are presented when doing so. Another question that would be most certainly there is Do you have a family? I believe this because this show is based on a man risking everything for their family but not in the most of conventional ways, so appealing to a family man and the lengths they would go to, to protect them.
The income and status model is a good model as it focuses on quite a large bit of society and is very effective in capturing there attention this is done through making the text extremely relatable to the class they are aiming at. This is why I believe breaking bad would attract class D because this is the class that struggles to keep their heads above water but just about manages and once again this is very relatable to the series and as a result this would attract this certain classes attention, for the simple reason that this series is an exaggerated example of finical struggles, so it is also an escape for those who are not able to do what the series is doing because in the real world it’s almost impossible and they would rather live it through sitting safely behind the TV.
Young and Rubicams 4c’s is the least effective of the 4 I have chosen but still has its advantages as it is really concentrating on a specific part of society so an audience is almost guaranteed. I think The Mainstreamer would be the right one to put to Breaking Bad. The first reason is that it has been running for a while now and has gained a large audience and is very popular over in America an Imdb making it, there 2nd most watched series ever, therefor is must be a very mainstream series also just the story alone is very mainstream and relates to every single citizen of America who cannot afford health insurance and those who are proud people and don’t enjoy accepting help of others so go to extremes.

Lifestyle categories just goes that one more step into detail after the young and rubicams 4c’s model, concentrating on a more specific part of society for breaking bad which would be the cowboys as the series is concentrating on making big money as quickly and as easily possible whether they are breaking the law and at some point the series probably become a cowboys dream, with all the money there constantly stumbling across through the series .

Audience Classification - Doctor Who

I am going to be reviewing Doctor Who for audience classifiction, this is a science fiction T.V show on BBC that airs on a Saturday night at 7:35.

The general audience profile of a Doctor Who viewer is widely verid compared to more specific T.V shows that appeal to one or two types of people. The gender of a Doctor Who viewer is not really a factor as it appeals to both male and female, although there has been an increase in female viewers which could be because of the new younger Doctor which might appeal more to the 14-19 girl age range, but in general the people who watch Doctor Who could be from 5 to the age of 60 because of the older series, they might have a nostalgic feeling attached to the image of the Tardis. Self image might play a part in people who watch Doctor Who, there are people who liked to be seen as "nerds" or "geeky" and may feel my viewing this show others will perceive them as such. Class is also not a factor as people from class D up to A could watch this show because of the story and as I said nostalgic feeling they may get watching it.

Income and Status model doesnt really effect the viewers of Doctor Who as people in the A class might watch it because they like the stories or the actors, which could also be the same reason who people in the D class watch it.

Lifestyle wont really have an effect either on who watches Doctor Who, although people that dont like to be left out of the social norm and like to be a part of the crowd might watch it so they can join in the disscussions at the water dispenser. Also people might not watch it so they can stay out of social norm and might dislike the show because of its popularity.

As for the 4C's the people that will fall into the category of Doctor Who viewers could be the resigned because they might get a nostalgic feeling from watching the show, the mainstream as they could view it as a pass time or something they like and watch for entertainment and lastly the aspirer because other people may see them differently for watching it either it be in a better way or worse.

Doctor Who is a all round T.V show as anyone from a different class could find it appealing and enjoy watching it.
